Comment on articles 5 : Commuters shocked by LRT collision

Is about 300 people escaped serious injuries in an accident involving two Light Rail Transit (LRT) trains at 6.30pm at the Bukit Jalil station on 24 th September 2008.
It was not the first or second incident involving these public transport. Luckily, there is no fatal accident reported but the potential is there.

LRT not as express bus which's LRT cater for about 5 time of bus capacity passengers.

LRT not as 'normal train' which's driven at a fast speed, frequent public traveling and man for the short distance travel. It will increase the potential of the accident.

Actually when we talk about public transport in Malaysia, the worst come first than the good side. It's true, even when PM Dato Sri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi visited and checked on the LRT a few week ago then it just started worried and plan for the action to improve this public transport.

I don't think it can solve in short time, it take long time planning and yet the problem suspicious to be solved. If the issued are pending and yet being tackles by the respective party, i am sure the disaster soon or later will be come to us.

A disaster is the impact of a natural or human made hazard that negatively affects to society or environment. In this case, we can classify under human made hazard.

Is this potential disaster in Malaysia?
